Now taking pre-orders for the Siege Engine II Bass Pre-amp. Production will start in early June.
The Siege Engine II has completely reworked overdrive modules for each of the 5 bands, with 3 jfet transistors per module.
Lay siege to your enemies with the Siege Engine Bass Pre-Amp. The Siege Engine is a powerful bass weapon with a TON of overdrive and massive flexibility and outputs. The pre amp features a 5 band EQ and overdrive section that allows you to carefully tailor the gain and tone at different frequencies. Use as a pedal with true bypass in your effects chain, feed a power amp directly, as well as sending DI outs for recording or live mixing.
4 outputs (6 if you include tuner and headphones):
Master high level 1/4" out to send to a power amp.
Master out instrument level to connect to more effects or instrument amp.
Balanced XLR DI out to send to mixers, recording gear, etc.
Unbalanced 1/4" DI out to send to other gear.
• Input and Pre Gain: The high impedance jfet input amp feeds directly into a Pre Gain control that can be pushed hard to introduce some drive, which in turn pushes the overdrive section harder or lighter. It’s a quick way to alter the overall aggression.
• Overdrive Section: In the overdrive section the signal is split into Bass, Lo Mid, Mid, Hi Mid and Treble frequency bands. Each band has a Level control and it’s own Drive control. All the bands are summed back together to form a harmonically rich tone that still maintains the integrity of all the notes you're playing.
• 4 footswitches: Bypass, Mute, Overdrive, and Effects Loop, to enable full control over all lines of attack.
• Master Outputs: There are two master outputs, both controlled by the Master Volume and Bass and Treble shelf EQs. One is a high level output for feeding power amplifiers and the other is instrument level to send to bass amps or other effects chains.
• Line Outputs: Balanced DI XLR and unbalanced 1/4” jacks to connect to PA, mixing consoles, recording gear or other amplifiers.
• Headphone Output: Connect headphones to use the amp for practice with an aux input to connect to outside music sources.
• Tuner Output: Hit the Mute foot switch and the dry tuner output stays on for silent tuning in live settings.
• DC Power: Requires 9 to 18 volts DC with 420mA of current, like most pedal power supplies.
