The Blender V3 is a parallel effects loop blender with 3 individually selectable effects loops. The instrument signal is split into 3 channels, sent to the 3 effects loops and then mixed back together.
Effects Loop A defaults to a clean channel if no effects pedal is plugged into the return jack of loop A. Effects Loop A also has bass and treble tone controls which come after the effects loop.
B>C toggle switch: Change channels B and C from parallel into a series configuration where the return from effects loop B is sent to the send of effects loop C.
Effects loops B and C also have phase switches to match the phase of the different channels to avoid signal loss.
The Blender V3 also has the ability to change the bypass settings for each effects loop. When the individual effects loop is turned off a toggle switch allows you to select what gets sent from that effects loop to the Blender's output: either the return of the pedal in the effects loop (to allow trails of delay type pedals to continue), a clean instrument signal, or nothing (muted).
One major advantage of this set up is to allow the total signal level sent to the final output of the Blender V3 to remain constant when the various effects loops are bypassed but also allow massive flexibility in shaping your sound and changing it on the fly.
